Two awful people yesterday thought they'd spread hate by vandalizing our neighbor's space with harmful messaging.
Whatever their goal was didn't work, because today the community rallied behind petalsandpagesofdenver to protect their space and to show Denver does not stand for hate.
It was beautiful to see how quickly the walls were repaired, and to watch the fresh walls be transformed into a message of love and resilience.

And, October 18th is the day of their fundraiser. Believe it or not, this beloved bookstore is in risk of closing, but not if we can stop it.
October 18th they are hosting a Keep Indies Alive Fundraiser to support being able to cover the costs to open their coffee shop inside the bookstore. The plan is once that's open, it'll help drive revenue and foot traffic, in addition to their other efforts of hosting events, having memberships, and of course, selling books.
