Thoughts? 🤔 Toyota’s next-generation GR Supra is set to debut around 2027, following the discontinuation of the current fifth-generation model (A90/A91) in spring 2026, which concludes with a special Final Edition run. This time around, Toyota is going solo, ditching its long-running BMW partnership. Instead of co-developed platforms or BMW engines, the upcoming Supra will ride on a brand-new in-house rear-wheel-drive platform and be powered by a Toyota-engineered 2.0-liter turbocharged hybrid four-cylinder, aimed at producing around 400 horsepower. It’s also rumored that Toyota will spawn a Lexus twin based on the same architecture, potentially replacing both the RC and LC coupes.
