This is how I calm the noise and get it all done as an overstimulated mom with 100 tabs open (okay, not allll of it, done but most): ⬇️ 1. 🧠Morning brain dump - set a 2 min timer before you open the laptop and get all the thoughts out. Doesn’t have to be a to do list. It can be a b*tch and moan list. 2. 🛌Sleep quality vs quantity - more sleep isn’t always an option as a mom, so try to maximize however many hours you do get. Eye masks, white noise, cool temps, phone in another room. 3. 🎧Lunchtime habit stack - stop spending your lunch break working on your employer’s objectives and work on your own. I use this time to listen to audiobooks and get curious about new topics 4. ☀️Daily movement together outdoors - the fresh air and movement will benefit you both. Prioritize it and your kiddos’ attitude with thank you. 5. 🍔Protein and fiber before school pick up - the 4-7pm witching hour is easier to manage when you’re not hungry. Don’t wait for dinner.
