It’s not about color but the contrast…⚡️ My best life today is because of the contrasts. Of knowing darkness so I can fully appreciate the light, of knowing that in the valleys is the promise of a climb and a view ahead and of understanding the beauty that exists in the balance of both. I’m still so young, with so much to learn and excited to experience but i’ll tell you this…it’s good to learn to love yourself, shadows and all. You make more good in the world, you see your experienced pain in others and have a deep empathy over judgement, and you hold your line knowing who you are and how much you worked to be vulnerable enough to reveal that self to the world. I am learning to love my shadow as much as I love my light, through the contrast they are the shape of me. I hope you learn to love your darkness as much as you love your light.
