🤘🏽⚡️ never forget where you started... ⚡️🤘🏽 Nothing like scrolling through the camera roll and finding an old gem this pic was from my first ever shoot for a boxing fitness studio I was teaching at. I had no clue how to make a great class, frankly, I was too broke to pay for or even get into LA fitness classes with the top talented instructors as inspiration so I just did me: gritty, imperfect, with a love of boxing and it’s science and with a goal of making people recognize the power they have and what the sport had taught me. I had no idea this would lead to my career path; to a new city, to an incredible community and to learning to accept myself (mental health issues/ flaws and all). It was a massive risk, one a very “by the book” perfectionist my former self would’ve never gone for...but life threw me for some massive knock down moments and a necessity to innovate— only to lead me toward something greater.
