LIONS TAKE DOWN BREAKERS: The jserra.girlstennis team took to the road for the first time this season and emerged victorious on Thursday, as the Lions defeated the Laguna Beach Breakers, 15-3, in a nonleague match at Laguna Beach High School. JSerra is now 3-0 on the season. The Lions took eight of nine sets in doubles action to help spearhead their triumph. Sophomore Isabella Geffre and junior Naomi Clarke teamed together to sweep their competition by scores of 6-2, 6-1, and 6-0. Sophomores Ava Levitanus and Julianna Johnson also swept their tandem action, winning by scores of 6-3, 6-0, and 6-1. Sophomore Miliana Leffler and freshman Paisley Crutchfield added triumphs of 6-1 and 6-4. Sophomore Brookelyn Garcia posted a sweep in her singles competition with wins of 6-2, 6-0, and 6-0.
