This morning the Lower Division celebrated their first Kabbalat Shabbat! 🔯 One very special tradition we have in the Lower Division is our Hebrew Buddies program, which partners fifth graders with kindergarteners. As the first step in this program, our fifth graders formed a welcome tunnel through which the kindergarten students walked into their first Denver JDS Kabbalat Shabbat as elementary school students, proudly wearing their Class of 2038 DJDS t-shirts! Our entire DJDS community cheered and welcomed them as they entered through the tunnel, followed by music, singing, and dancing.
