It uses cocoa beans grown by farmers engaged in our Income Accelerator Program, which enables cocoa-farming families to gain cash incentives through secure and traceable mobile payments. It rewards families for implementing practices that help benefit the farming communities and the environment cocoa depends on. This program builds on over a decade of work through the Nestlé Cocoa Plan, in partnership with rainforestalliance. We aim to reach 160,000 cocoa-farming families by 2030.
