AViVA has released her cover of Twenty One Pilots’ ‘Tear In My Heart’ on to streaming services. The song was originally recorded for Rock Sound’s ‘Blurryface Reborn’ tribute album, released earlier in honour of the record’s tenth anniversary. On her version of the track, she told us “When we approached this cover, the intention was clear—we wanted to reimagine it through our own lens. The original has an undeniable energy, but we were drawn to the idea of giving it a more dirty grunge edge— making it a bit darker but still retaining the songs core. We wove in the signature AViVA elements: brooding textures, layered vocals, a bit of that chaos-under-control energy.
