Bilmuri, Reading and Leeds Festival 2025
REVIEW: There are a lot of big smiles plastered across faces in the Festival Republic Stage right now, but none of them are bigger than Johnny Franck’s.
This is Bilmuri’s third trip to the UK in just over eight months, and the sheer adoration being pointed their way has increased tenfold each time.
Much of that is down to just how absolutely unstoppable the band are whenever they take to the stage, and that hot streak is continuing in style here.
The crushing prettiness of ‘ALL GAS’ and the tear-stained grooves of ‘THE END’ are impossible not to be enraptured by, whilst new heater ‘More Than Hate’ sounds utterly debauched, with plenty of bruises being handed out in the pit during its unrelenting breakdown.
