The surf in Ocean City,
#NewJersey, and all along the Jersey Coast is expected to remain high heading into the evening hours Thursday, Aug. 21, as Hurricane
#Erin continues to churn well offshore.
Lifeguards have been doing their best to keep people out of the water with 8-foot waves breaking not far from the beach. A coastal flood warning remains in effect as 2-3 feet of water inundation above ground level in low-lying areas is possible, according to the National Weather Service.
