Unhinged things I did when building secondhand empire
When I first started selling vintage, it was pure chaos.
I thrifted clothes and flipped them because I couldn’t afford to be a “fashion influencer.” I shoved all my inventory in my closet. I carried $5K worth of clothes on the subway. I even filmed my competitors’ stores for free just so l could ask them questions on how they got started. And if there was a market?
Everything got piled into an Uber because I didn’t have a car.
It was not glamorous. It was not aesthetic. Caffeine and pure delusion keeping me going.
So if you feel like you’re scrapping things together right now, remember: the chaos IS part of the story.
And sometimes the most “unhinged” beginnings lead to incredible results.
Would you guys want to see more of the behind-the-scenes origin story chaos?
