The ‘Martin’ spinoff ‘Varnell Hill’ has added another Black entertainment vet to its cast. Comedian and actress Kym Whitley will join Tommy Davidson in the upcoming spinoff series on BET+ . The series follows Davidson’s ‘Martin’ character Varnell Hill, who has hit it big with his own nighttime talk show. Varnell is now trying to remain relevant in the changing TV landscape. Whitley will play Kim Jones, Varnell’s long-suffering assistant.
