Honored to be invited out to speak rallywestvirginia this weekend. This year’s theme was Leave No Doubt, and I shared my journey through valleys of struggle, loss, and resilience. From cutting, anorexia, bulimia, to losing my sister, to competing at the highest level in CrossFit, starting a wine brand and running businesses. We often see the highlight reel of our successes or journey, not always the struggles. But it’s the valleys and struggles we crawl through that shape us, not the top of the mountain. And I’ve learned that sometimes, the richest fruit grows in the deepest valleys. I have learned the most impactful lessons may come from the hardest struggles and decisions we have to make in life. My hope was to remind everyone: - Walk through your valley. Don’t avoid it. Don’t numb it. Courage is found in the crawl. - Let movement heal you. It’s not just physical, it’s emotional, mental, and spiritual. - Live for more. Live for the people who can’t. Live for the moments you stil...
