The USF men’s basketball team advances to the American Athletic Conference semifinals after defeating East Carolina University 81-59. Guards Kobe Knox and Selton Miguel tied for a game-high 17 points. Miguel also had a game-high three steals, two rebounds, and one assist. Knox added six rebounds and two assists. Before the game, head coach Amir Abdur-Rahim was announced as one of the semifinalists for the Naismith Awards College Coach of the Year.
