Chris Columbus, the director behind the first two ‘Harry Potter’ films, says a full reunion of the franchise’s original cast is “never going to happen.” “It’s gotten so complicated with all the political stuff,” Columbus told The Times U.K. “Everyone in the cast has their own opinion, which is different from her opinion, which makes it impossible.” Columbus clarified that while he hasn’t spoken to J.K. Rowling in over a decade, he’s still in close contact with Daniel Radcliffe and the rest of the cast.
