To mark #LGBTplusHM25, we’re celebrating last year’s University Rugby Awards Rugby for All EDI Award winner, Kate Cook-Williams welsh_kate, Head Coach of hallamwrfu. “Kate joined our club as head coach midway through the beginning of our semester after having been left without a coach suddenly. Kate has worked alongside our committee to create a massively diverse feeling for our club. She’s done this by promoting the use of inclusive LBGTQ+ language and endorsing the use of they/them pronouns for ALL players to reduce misidentifying players.
