Game Theory is the seventh studio album by #TheRoots, released on August 29, 2006, through Def Jam Recordings. It marked the group’s first project with the label after parting ways with Geffen Records and was notably recorded using Apple’s GarageBand software. The album debuted at number nine on the U.S. Billboard 200 and received widespread critical acclaim. It later earned a Grammy Award nomination for Best Rap Album.
