Struggling to feel strong in plank—or hold yourself up in headstand? If your core’s not firing, everything feels harder than it has to.
There are so many cues out there—and they don’t always agree. Some say pull your ribs in, others say don’t. One tells you to relax your glutes, the next says squeeze them. It can be a lot 🥴
That’s why I focus on cues that work for real bodies—and help you feel supported where it matters most. One of my favorites (whether I’m in plank, crescent, or handstand) is: Firm the inner thighs together. Engage the glutes. Draw the navel in. It supports your pelvis, activates your core, and suddenly—everything clicks.
Most yogis are never actually taught how to engage their core. This cue changes that 🚀
It’s the kind of detail I teach inside Vinyasa Flows—a new 7-class series I created on my own platform, where I finally get to teach exactly how I want:
💫15–45 min flows designed for strength, mobility & clarity
💫Classes for arms, core, glutes, backbends, ...
