Sometimes I still get carded. Most of the time, I wish I would. Being 42 is funny like that—some people are shocked, others act like I’m still a baby. But what matters most? I feel good in my body (most of the time).
That didn’t happen by accident. It’s been years of:
✔️ Moving my body daily
✔️ Being kind to my mind
✔️ Watching what I put in, on, and around me
Has it been perfect? Nope. Have I done Botox? Yep. (Last time, I got the flu.) Fillers? Not yet, but maybe someday. Facelift? Let’s talk at 60.
42 feels different from 32… and wildly different from 22.
→ My body heals slower.
→ My confidence is higher.
→ And yes, I’m in my sexual prime—so that’s a win.
The goal? To feel good in my body for as long as possible. This daily yoga routine helps (And yes, sometimes I do it in bed or while blow-drying my hair.)
🌀 Forward Fold → Circulation = glow + calms my mind
🧘♀️ Handstand → Strength + energy + scalp circulation (hair growth?)
🐶 Downward Dog → Mobility + blood flow
🦵 Recline...
