Well 2019, you were both one of the greatest and most challenging years of my life. I spent the first half preparing for then mourning the loss of a parent, but from it, you also taught me that time is precious and life too short to not live a little recklessly. I learned that even though with limited time, it’s always the right choice to love and be vulnerable because you don’t ever want to look back regrettably when it’s too late and the opportunity gone. You’ve reminded me how everything is temporary and how important it is to appreciate the good stuff: people and relationships, experiences, even the random little happy coincidences.
Looking back at the most formative decade of my life, it’s been a crazy rollercoaster ride of highs and lows, but I wouldn’t have had it any other way. Can’t wait to see what the next 10 years bring - meet you soon, 2020!
