“One of my coaching philosophy core values is trust,” says Steve Boyle, Head Coach of Men’s Lacrosse at Drexel University (drexelmlax). “The players need to trust that my staff and I will put every ounce of effort into helping them become successful, and we will put their best interests first and foremost. And we need trust from them in return.” Boyle joined the team’s staff in the summer of 2014, and he was named head coach in the summer of 2024. During his first year leading the team, Drexel Men’s Lacrosse secured a CAA playoff bid, and, in 2025, the team advanced to the championship CAA Title game. “I'm striving to create a culture at Drexel where a relentless work ethic and our players' attention to detail are non-negotiable.
