This is what nearly 8 years of showing up for myself looks like.
In 2017, I was broken — physically, emotionally, mentally. I hated my body, I hated how I felt, and I honestly didn’t believe real change was possible for me. For years I begged doctors to help me, to tell me why nothing was working — and it took forever before someone finally listened and diagnosed me with insulin-resistant PCOS.
The girl on the left was exhausted, hurting, and felt trapped in a body she didn’t recognize. The woman on the right feels strong, proud, and finally free. This hasn’t been a quick fix or an easy road — it’s been years of trial and error, setbacks, tears, plateaus, and choosing every single day not to quit.
If you’re in that Day 1 place, wondering if it’s worth it — it is. Keep going. Fight for answers. Fight for yourself. You are worth every bit of the work.
