Last Thursday, we welcomed our Year One Trainees to Joffrey Ballet School with orientation, an exciting first step into their journey as artists and individuals. From meeting Artistic Directors and staff, to connecting with their new peers, to getting a first glimpse into the rhythm of daily training, our dancers began building the foundation for a transformative year ahead. Orientation isn’t just about schedules and introductions. It’s about community. It’s about stepping into a space where passion, discipline, and creativity collide. As our newest trainees embark on this chapter, they carry with them not only their dedication to the art of dance, but also the courage to grow, to explore, and to discover their unique voices as performers.
