The leaves are changing, and Elk mating season–better known as ‘the rut’--is in full force here in Colorado. 🍂🦌 In Rocky Mountain National Park, some roads are closing to protect Elk from disturbances during this critically important time of year. As you head to the mountains to enjoy the Fall colors, please remember to stay alert for wildlife on the roads. Whether it’s an Elk, a Deer, or another animal, keeping an eye out helps protect both them and you. Drive safely and enjoy the season! 🚗🍁
