As we continue to celebrate #UNC25, hear from #UNCgrad Ma’Kylah Lucas about a few of her favorite moments at #UNC. 🎓 Ma’Kylah is from Wilson, North Carolina. This May, she received her bachelor’s in medical anthropology with health and society. 🐏 A highlight of her Carolina experience was gaining experience and participating in many different spaces. “In my second year at UNC, I was apart of the Student Athletic Training Program and worked with uncfootball. I also volunteered at UNC Hospitals through the Volunteer Program and was a member of the Inaugural BIOL 119 class, which allowed me to become a patient sitter. Additionally, I was a research assistant across two labs, which provided a great deal of experience and understanding of my future field.” 💬 Ma’Kylah’s advice to Tar Heels is to live in the moment. “You only get so much time in undergrad, so take advantage of all the opportunities and networking available.
