As we celebrate #UNC24, hear from #UNCgrad Aiko Rachel Peterson on a few of her favorite moments at #UNC. 🎓 Aiko is from Surabaya, Indonesia. She graduated in December with her bachelor’s in advertising and public relations from unchussman and data science and a minor in biology. 🐏 A highlight of her Carolina experience was her time as Assistant Audience Engagement Editor at dailytarheel. “This role wasn’t just a job—it was where I truly saw how my work could create meaningful change in the community. While seeing our efforts recognized by the White House was incredible, what mattered even more was knowing we sparked conversations. This was my first “big girl job” in the U.S., a stepping stone to financial independence and a place where I found my voice.
