This garage was nothing special. Complete with exposed joists, pipes, and wires—not to mention the sloping concrete floors and lack of natural light—there was a lot of work to do to make it a comfortable space. But thankfully, when they purchased the home back in 2018, Jessica and Stig Olson saw its potential. In 2020, they reached out to a friend, interior designer hana_mattingly of innenstudio, for help. Mattingly brought in another friend, architect jackhotho, and when the design meetings started, they felt more like dinner parties than work sessions. “Jess is an amazing cook.
