Certainly, the demand for coastal living is high—according to 2024 research conducted by global market intelligence firm CoherentMI, the “modern beach houses market size is expected to reach USD $26.20 billion by 2032.” When it comes to Americans’ desire to own a second property, primarily to be used as a vacation home, beachfronts seem to be where it’s at.
