Valerius Elementary School in Urbandale, Iowa, is designed to reflect the natural beauty of its community – immersing visitors and inviting them to engage all of their senses. Our #design team collaborated closely with key stakeholders to establish a vision for the project, focusing on the creation of welcoming, #collaborative, and flexible learning environments. Classroom neighborhoods and common spaces incorporate various themes inspired by the site’s contextual elements, including Woodlands, Brook, Grassland, and Hive.
