There has been a lot of chatter in response to the oral arguments heard this week in U.S. v. Skrmetti, the Supreme Court case about health care for trans youth. To be clear: this case will likely not be decided until the Spring or Summer of 2025, and no one knows exactly how the Justices will rule. That said, leaders and legal experts across the LGBTQ+ movement remain cautiously optimistic.
