White Cube wishes Happy Birthday to Darren Almond 🎉 Over nearly three decades, Darren Almond has developed a practice that evocatively explores time and duration as well as personal and historical memory. Recently, the artist’s solo exhibition ‘Night Before Day’ at White Cube Hong Kong continued his examination of our relationship to the seasonal changes taking place within the natural world. Inspired by a childhood memory, Darren’s works use the motif of the willow tree to excavate his engagement with memory, time and the cycles of nature.
