White Cube returns to The Armory Show for the first time since the fair’s inaugural edition in 1994 with a solo presentation of new work by TARWUK ✨ Working as a single entity, Croatian-born, New York-based artists TARWUK form part of a generation who came of age during the Yugoslav wars of the 1990s. TARWUK’s practice can be understood within the context of the aspirations, struggles and eventual dissolution of the former Yugoslavian state, and its elusive avant-garde.
