Born on this day: Bram Bogart (1921–2012) The late Belgian artist made work that occupies a space between painting and sculpture. Bogart worked through numerous stylistic shifts across his long career, finally settling on sensorial paintings heavily ladened with paint, for which he is acclaimed.
