Now Open: ‘Alien Shores’ curated by Susanna Greeves at White Cube Bermondsey Across painting, video, photography and sculpture, the exhibition explores landscape as a place of memory, imagination, yearning and belonging. The exhibiting artists offer speculative, symbolic or surreal depictions of emotional terrain and voyages of the imagination, as well as visions of the distant past or possible futures. The exhibition’s title is borrowed from the Latin poet Petronius, who encourages the reader to ‘seek out alien shores [...] he who disembarks on distant sands, becomes thereby the greater man’. ‘Alien Shores’ is on view at White Cube Bermondsey until 7 September 2025. 🔗Click the link in our bio to learn more.
