On View: Antony Gormley ‘Ground’ and ‘Drawing on Space’ at Museum SAN, Wonju
‘Ground’, a new permanent installation created for Museum SAN by Antony in collaboration with architect Tadao Ando is now on display.
Embedded beneath the museum’s flower garden, ‘Ground’ explores the relationship between nature and the human condition – an interest central to both Ando and Gormley’s work.
Alongside ‘Ground’, Museum SAN also presents Antony Gormley’s solo exhibition, ‘Drawing on Space’. Featuring a selection of works on paper and sculptures from throughout his career, ‘Drawing on Space’ explores how sculpture can stimulate the mind, awaken the senses and heighten awareness.
The exhibition invites viewers to actively engage with the works and the surrounding space, creating an immersive experience.
📍 On view at Museum SAN, Wonju, South Korea until 30 November 2025.
