A stroll on Yonge Street just south of Bloor #OnThisDay 50 years ago, courtesy of amateur street photographer Harvey Naylor. Naylor, a Toronto film and sound technician, documented our changing city in more than 50,000 colour slides shot between 1954 and 1984. His collection is valuable to us because nearly all of his slides are labelled, dated, and organized by subject. 1. The west side of the street, between St. Mary Street and Bloor.
