In Focus: Robert Irwin’s ‘Untitled’ (2021) at White Cube Paris Standing three metres tall, this monumental installation features six semi-transparent columns made from coloured acrylic sheets. With ‘Untitled’, Irwin emphasises perception and experience as the crucible of an artistic encounter. The work takes different forms depending on the observer’s position: parallel and perpendicular planes of acrylic alternately obscure and reveal internal colours and forms while offering glimpses of the surrounding environment. ‘Untitled’ is on view in ‘Robert Irwin’ at White Cube Paris until 19 July 2025. 🔗Click the link in our bio to learn more.
