In Focus: Alex Carver’s ‘Primitive Accumulation’ at White Cube Seoul ‘Primitive Accumulation’ (2025), is part of Alex’s new ‘Landscape’ series, debuted in his exhibition ‘Effigy’ at White Cube Seoul. Taking its title from a Marxist text on wealth accumulation through force, the painting overlays flowing lines taken from medical diagrams of systems used for burn victims, with tracings of figures from the artist’s ‘Inferno’ series.
