The exhibition features a multitude of hung pendants, desk and floor lamps in the Dowel Jones Fitzroy showroom, presenting research and final outcomes exploring hyper-local manufacturing. Drawing inspiration from the romantic symbolism of flowers, the collection embraces the idea of objects that become keepsakes of a memory — imbued with nostalgia and heirloom-like qualities. The result is a series of intricately knitted lighting pieces that evoke a sense of romantic legacy, each a testament to the artistry and innovation of Australian design and manufacturing.
