Tien Nguyen is one of our 2025 Creators in Residence. Using our menu collection as a jumping off point, Nguyen will highlight how food tells the story of Los Angeles—its neighborhoods, traditions, and migrations. The menu collection was previously highlighted in 2015 with To Live and Dine in L.A., a book, exhibition, and program series curated by joshdkun. Tien's new project, inspired in part by this initiative, will add to the conversation through her unique voice and expertise.
