We've had a heap of Hoopoes this Spring! Over 100 have already been spotted this year, which might be one of the biggest influxes of Hoopoes the UK has ever seen. This exotic-looking bird usually makes it to our shores by overshooting their normal breeding range. And while it's rare (it's happened twice since 1996), some do end up breeding here.
