Get CLEAR on what your house is worth. Have a brutally honest conversation about your homes value. Don’t just look at what sold in the past 6 months and assume your house is going to sell for more. Make sure to look at the competition that’s currently on the market. How long has it been sitting? How long has it been taking for houses to sell over the past 30 days and how much housing inventory is in your specific neighborhood and zip code?
I’m an optimist, but I’m also a realist and I think every seller needs to have realistic expectations before they decide what selling path to take.
