Today on Bow Seat’s feed, we’re celebrating the creativity and vision of six young artists whose works remind us of the beauty and fragility of life on our planet. Each artwork, drawn from past Ocean Awareness Contest winners, captures the richness of biodiversity and the urgent call to protect it. One of these pieces, The Circle of Hope by Jisung Park (Saulnierville, Canada), reflects on the deep connection between community and ocean and the responsibility we share in caring for it. Inspired by both environmental artists and his ocean-dependent hometown, Jisung reminds us that gratitude for the earth must be matched with action. Through bold imagery plastic waste sinking to the seafloor, countered by bright signs urging us to recycle, plant trees, and reduce carbon emissions this artwork is a message of hope and accountability.
