As we approach the 20th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, I’ve been reflecting a lot and feeling it deeply. I’m sure many of you are too. I’ve had the privilege of speaking in several different pieces about the storm and its aftermath. I sat down with Louisiana Public Broadcasting to talk about how far we’ve come in weather technology since those days. You can catch that segment tomorrow on LPB on August 29, 7pm. I also spoke with WTUL New Orleans, the fabulous Dominique LeJeune will share the story of 20 Katrina kids and the lingering impacts two decades later.
