Saxon, USA, crossfittrivium: “(Competing in CrossFit) initially started by helping my brother train for football. When there was a 400-meter run in the workout, he would run with the football, and me and my brother would come up and we would try to knock the football out of his hand. “Not even just that. My first workout was Fight Gone Bad. Of course, we’re like, ‘Alright, we want to put up the most amount of reps.’ We just want to beat each other. And that’s essentially how it started, it was like, ‘Hey, there’s this whiteboard in the gym, and I want my name to be at the top of that whiteboard.’ And we fought for that every day. “My brother was in his 20s at the time. I was 12 at the time. We had a big age gap. So, because we could scale things appropriately, it allowed us to still be able to have that competitive outlet.” #HumansOfCrossFit
