Yesterday, we had the privilege of welcoming a group of MBA students from Hochschule Mainz University of Applied Sciences (Germany), led by Prof. Dr. Bernhard Ostheimer der_oh during their visit to Rwanda.
The students visited our Menstrual Hygiene Management Room, a safe and empowering space currently serving 514 girls, 22 teachers, and young women from the neighboring community.
They learned how this initiative is tackling period poverty, breaking barriers to education, and ensuring no girl misses school because of a natural biological cycle.
It was inspiring to witness their curiosity and empathy of the students, connecting classroom theory with real-world impact, and engaging with the challenges and solutions we are building in Rwanda.
This visit was more than just a tour, it was a moment of shared learning, bridging perspectives from Rwanda to Germany, and reminding us that menstrual health is not just a women’s issue, but a global equity issue.
Special thanks to Prof. Dr. Be...
