Today, we visited genocide survivors in Bugesera District, extending a hand of solidarity and hope.
With the support of betpawarwanda we donated 25 cows in Ruhuha, Gashora, and Nyamata, symbolizing unity and progress.
Naphtal Ahishakiye, The Executive Secretary of ibuka_rwanda highlighted the gratitude he feels as Rwandan youth embrace a spirit of compassion and service, reflecting on our nation’s journey over the past 30 years.
JMV Murenzi, Director of Social Development in bugeseradistrict emphasized the transformative power of solidarity, noting the positive actions of today’s youth in contrast to the past, where youth played a significant role in perpetrating the genocide.
Epiphanie Mukarukanzi, Administrator of Gashora Sector, extended gratitude to partners, emphasizing that supporting survivors also benefits the entire community. She also pointed out the cows’ potential in the assistance of meeting daily needs.
