#TerrierTuesdays: Meet Zyna Azim (bu_cas ’27)! Originally from Cambridge, Massachusetts, Zyna entered BU as a sophomore transfer student. She chose BU for its strong sense of community, the nearby medical school, and the incredible academic programs, plus, it’s close to home. After exploring the array of programs available to her on campus, she is now an English major on the premed track, with double minors in Deaf Studies and Medical Anthropology. Outside the classroom, Zyna is a member of the BU Equestrian Team (buequestrian), an active sister and officer in Delta Delta Delta (trideltabu), and the founder of Pas de Lune Ballet Company (buballetcompany), which she created to give ballet dancers a welcoming, tight-knit community on campus. Looking ahead, Zyna plans to earn a master’s degree in English, complete a post-baccalaureate program, and then attend medical school.
