Historic test over water: CA Air Guard units, the Air National Guard Air Force Reserve Command Test Center, and the Naval Air Warfare Center at Naval Air Station Point Mugu teamed up to evaluate fighter vs. rescue-helicopter engagements — including the HH-60W Jolly Green II — to measure electronic countermeasures and boost helicopter survivability. The airnationalguard units included the 129rqw and 144thfighterwing.
